Hi! My name is Alana Morales, the Owner and Creator of Lolli's Cakes. The name of my business comes from my childhood nickname "Lolli Cakes", which was given to me by my Father. My original business name was "White Rabbit Sweets", which stuck around until early 2024. 

 

I started this small business in 2020, at only 17 years old. I had been interested in baking for most of my life, but I never had the courage to pursue it professionally. That all shifted in March of 2020, when everyones lives changed dramatically due to COVID-19. Since I was unable to attend school or see those closest to me as I normally would do, I turned to baking as a coping mechanism. After a few months of practice, I became a better at my craft, and was encouraged by my friends and family to make a business out of it. It took me almost a month to figure out a business name, and it took me even longer to gain the confidence to post my creations on instagram. I finally made my instagram page on May 25, 2020, and posted my first creation on July 18th, 2020.
